Mee's Pancake

 ショコラショコラパンケーキ 980 YEN
We just stopped by this place to rest :(
After walking all day i feel like i can't even feel my legs anymore...
this place is located right across of top shelf.. just keep walking and you'll see it. It's on the same side as the "bills" building. I also noticed there's another Mee's Pancake located next to the matsumotokiyoshi [makeup chain store] across from shibuya eki, about two min walking distance from shibuya 109.

samrat 印度カレー〜

Been googling for indian curry in tokyo for a while now, just couldn't decide on where. After picking my friend up at Shinjuku, we decided to stop by the samrat indian curry @ shinjuku. It's located pretty close to mister donut, on the 6th floor or something like that hidden in one of those buildings.

I was both surprised and excited when i walked in the place, because the place is furnished so well and just gives off a indian style vibe that made people feel like they are eating at the imperial palace :P jkjk.
What i was trying to say was that upon walking in, you could tell the owner spent lots of thinking and effort into decorating the place.

we got the lunch  for 1050 and 1050 yen each. It comes with two curry and unlimited "nam"? i hope i'm spelling it right. But the thing tasted delicious!

Partyland frozen yogurt & crepes

mmm? should we try this place?
I was looking for a crepe/place to rest after walking for 3 hours none stop with my friend... We walked past this place and i saw the big sign saying that this place was on TV, so i figured. .okay.. can't be that bad, right? So we walked in.

we got frozen yogurt + crepes. Frozen yogurt was okay, i guess i liked the matcha the most out of everything.. Mont Blanc flavor was a complete failure :( i didn't like it and it didn't taste like Mont Blanc at all. But.. this place provides free water.. a huge plus for people like me who's been walking around all day+ thirst and tired.

overall i thought this place was soso, it's on the 2nd floor and easy to miss. But if you ever need a place to rest, this place is probably your best choice. It's got AC/MUSIC/CHAIRS/FREE WATER. :) cheers!

izakaya

Went to a random Izakaya with a friend who came from US to visit me :). It was a super spontaneous trip, she literally just called me two days before she booked the ticket, and three days later she's here sitting next to me enjoying japanese food with me. I took pictures of the menu thinking that the name of the place would be on there, but it wasn't. Odd....

Anyhow, this was one of the cheaper izakayas located right next to harajuku JR exit. Loved the place, will probably come back if i'm around the area :)!

eggs'n things pancake パンケーキ〜

Always wanted to try this place, but the super long line just drove me away :(. Today.. i got lucky! got in the place within 10 min, probably thanks to President Obama~ Because he was near by visiting meijijingu shrine.. hence.. that's where everyone went. I managed to take a snap shot of mejijingu.. you can tell the place is packed.. and yes there was lots of police around the place and it was closed. When my friend approached the police and asked them when President Obama will be out, they simply responded: we don't know, and gave us a kind of annoyed face :P

 so, back on track ^^
ta da!!! The amount of creme they put on top of my tiny pancakes (4 to be exact) is insane! and YES just incase if you were wondering, the cream tasted really really really good. Not like the albertson supermarket whipped cream, this actually tasted like real whip cream ^^~

p.s. try stopping by this place at like 5 or 6pm, i went during 4pm and when i got out around 5 there weren't that many people in line.

Izakaya again :)

Our random Izakaya dates after Keio Kosmic meeting! My friend took me to this.. mm supposidly cheaper izakaya just right across from Keio University. As you can tell.. we had a great time :) It was all you can drink for two hours, and after we split the check.. it was about 2000 yen per person. Oh and that gooey weird looking stuff.. is actually some intestine that you're suppose to eat it with squid?! Apparently it's a japanese favorite.

サイゼリヤ

Oh man! can't believe i never went to Saizeriya until now!!!!!!!!! Saizeriya is super close to Keio university [mita campus], it's one of those cheap chain store italian restaurants. Look at the menu and just look at that price! If you're not in the mood of spending lots of money on food, you should definitely try this place :) However, my only complaint is that their portions are smaller than usual.. my friend had to order five dishes for dinner.. oh and a "large pasta" for dinner. But that's just us, and we just got out of our Yoga class.

たいめんけんomrice! :)

 located: nihonbashi, c4 exit
Kept wanting to try this place after seeing 朝日テルビ reporting it on TV. The reporter just kept saying " OIshii~~" "UMMM!!" the whole time when she was eating that omrice. I seriously thought she was bluffing when she said the wait is usually about two to three hours during weekdays/weekends. But nope.. she's telling the truth.. you know what's crazier? I actually waited in line for three hours for that omrice -__---~

Just wanted to take some pictures of the interior. The whole time when i was eating i was literally staring at the people in line around the corner. It's not like i want to. It's more like they kept looking in so i had no choice but to look back at times.. and secretly feel bad for them because i know they have at least a good 20 or 15 minutes to go before they can enjoy their yummy omrice...

now.. the omrice. It is AMAZING in a way that it's so.. raw on the inside but so cooked on the outside. I got the タンポポオムライス 1950yen without knowing what 伊丹十三風 is.. turns out it was just ketchup.. Now here comes the exciting part....
 you see..??
gotta cut them slowly (it's sooo hardd to cut thru them because of the texture.. it's just way too soft ;/ )..

ta-da!! than you unfold them on top of your rice.
Thats the proper way of eating them.. according to the lady who worked there..

now this was my friends beef version....
obviously the only difference between the two was just that hers came with beef and beef stew sauce.. while mine just came with ketchup and had nothing in it...
