サイゼリヤ

Oh man! can't believe i never went to Saizeriya until now!!!!!!!!! Saizeriya is super close to Keio university [mita campus], it's one of those cheap chain store italian restaurants. Look at the menu and just look at that price! If you're not in the mood of spending lots of money on food, you should definitely try this place :) However, my only complaint is that their portions are smaller than usual.. my friend had to order five dishes for dinner.. oh and a "large pasta" for dinner. But that's just us, and we just got out of our Yoga class.

i'd recommend not to order 大海老天井 unless you only eat shrimp.. because i flet like my tendon was very lonely... i had nothing else to with my rice except shrimp..

大黑家

Akasaka is like a must go touristy place, i've been here several times when i came as a kid with my grandparents. However it is my first try at 大黑家. I did some research before going, and almost everyone gave this place a shiny five star.
street view :) I went early so some stores weren't even open!
Menu; you can also ask for english menu!
one thing i noticed when i sat down was that almost everyone around me are tourists. I hear people speaking in spanish, english, mandarin, and oh man even taiwanese too!

and finally.. our 1500 yen tendon! My first impression was that it's sooo dark compared to 葵丸進~the other tempura place i've tried before at Asakusa. I was a bit disappointed because i feel like they used too much 粉 on the outside, so on my first bite i had nothing but 粉.. my shrimp was probably half the size of that tempura lol...

Don't like this place :(
i think it's only famous because it's "touristy", probably explains why i don't see much japanese people around me when i was dining.

jonathans

We were just walking around omotesando, looking for a quick restaurant so we could sit down and rest for a bit. I took my friend to Jonathan's, it's one of the chain restaurants just like Gusto and Saizeriya. My dessert was so-so, like i said, this place is a good place to go if you're just looking for a place to rest.

SEIYU Supermarket cheap bentos

Never thought i could find bentos this cheap in tokyo >''<
Seiyu is now my fav super market <3 They offer a great selection of things, from tempura to sushi to salads, with such low prices you simply don't see elsewhere. They have bentos ranging from 298-400, and Yakitoris more than half the price than the ones you could've gotten from izakayas.

天ぷら専門店 新宿つな八

I usually take pictures of the menu first when i walk in restaurants just so i have a record of what i ordered, and the price of things. I wanted to try this place because i heard it's one of the original tempura places, where you get your tempura hot from the fry pan, and have them bring it over to you. Definitely don't see anything like this in the states.
my 1260 set :)
