keio dorm- PLUME IS

guy falling asleep on the JR

Plume was my third choice, i didn't want to live there because it was like an hour away from Mita campus. One thing i noticed about the walking distance description provided by Keio was that they were all underestimating the length and time. The walk from the station to apartment was not 10 mins as listed, but more like a 15-20 min. Btw, the place is so remote everything is about 15min+ walk away ;(

the front door :):)

My first impression about the room when i walked in was that it was so much BIGGER than the weekly mansion (yayyy!!), and so much dirtier by comparison ( there were chips on the floor and random stuff here and there.. the previous tenant must've been a super lazy and dirty girl!). It took me about 3 hours to finally brush the place up clean~

It's odd though, in US when you move out of school dorms you usually have to clean the place up pretty well or else your school will fine you, at least that was the way it was for UCI. But for Keio, there was no such thing. The previous tenant left cups unwashed with gooey sticky stuff on the bottom, oh ya and some of her cloths too in the closet. At least now i get a bigger room/desk and shelves!

i got the plates from the recycle room downstairs... It's a place where people dump their unwanted stuff they got in Japan for others to use. Some of them were actually in great condition, people just left them here because they didn't have enough room in their suitcase, or just didn't want to bring them back.

okay.. now.. new start :)

  3. Hi, I'll be moving in Plume IS this September and I was wondering if I needed to bring a bath towel with me or if there was already one in the room ?
    Thanks, Sarah
