It took a while for us to decide what we wanted to order, after the lady stopped by for the probably third time.. we finally decided and told her that we want one 10500 and one 15750 yen set. The lady than politely asked us if we wanted to try 自然鰻.. and we said yes. According to her, those are harder to get because they have limited servings per day..

ta-da! my unagi! Since for my meal i get two sets of Unagi, i told her i wanted two different flavors- one with salt one with sauce. If i remember correctly, this is the regular unagi and not the 自然鰻. I didn't do much research on the topic, but if i remember correctly, someone once told me that 自然鰻 are the ones from the restaurant aka those eels were fed by the restaurant and not some random ones they bought from others.
I lifted my bento wanted to see what was under it, turns out.. it's just hot boiled water used to keep my food hot! Smart huh!
Okay! so the second bento is finally the well known 自然鰻! After trying both.. i guess the only thing i can say about the two is that.. they both don't really taste like fish. T_T.. If i have to say a difference between the two i would say the meat in 自然鰻 was softer than the other. But besides that.. i have no idea why the price difference were so huge and why there's such a fuss on 自然鰻 topic now!
