450usd worth of cloths right here! |
I noticed this a long time ago, Japanese cloths are just unreasonably expensive! The price for a forever 21 material shirt can cost about 70-150 here at shibuya or shinjuku shopping malls. On top of that, those aren't even brand named shirts! yikes!
This is exactly why when the 福袋 came out, i ran to the shop to grab them and got TWO from ROJITA and one from Swingle. Both bags costed 15000 yen, equivalent to 150 USD. I got up at six in the morning and woke my sister up, and we took the subway to ikebukuro. After that.. it was just lots of running and randomly grabbing watever you see. The thing with these fubukuro is that they are limited, once they are gone they are gone for good. People buy them because they're relatively cheaper... a bag of it probably has like six or ten cloths. While a random jacket probably costs 10000 yen, the fubukuro costs about 10000-15000 yen, so everything is basically 50 percent off or more? Because of that, lots of girls ( like me) are willing to get up early and get them!
