and hours on checking out food at different locations
i have concluded that our JWU program school, 日本女子學院, serves the best and the cheapest food in Tokyo!
where as food are usually 700 yen or above,
food served at日本女子學院 are usually around 250-500~
the best part of it is that we also get endless refills of green tea!!!
i tried the don today for 399! the bowl was so big and yummy i finished it in ten minutes without any rice left in the bowl ^__^^yum yum~~~
one interesting tip i learned from 日本女子學院の学生 is that we are suppose to eat mix the semi raw egg and eat it with the meat...
for dinner i had 水山レストラン's ramen @新宿 for 830 yen,
which was also relatively cheap for the size of the ramen!
i'm serious, the ramen was wayy bigger than my face,
two girls could pretty easily share it and still be full...
the broth tasted pretty good too not too salty~
i think in the future i might come back and try their dinner set <3 <3
Lastly, i wanna comment on how crazy the JR YAMAMOTE line is after class hours! i was basically crushed all the way at the station from shinjuku to sugamo it's crazy i feel like theres definitely more then a hundred people at the eki! so lesson of the day: don't leave shinjuku ar 7.30! cuz that area is densely populated and you'll b squashed all the way home!
SOME THOUGHTS ON THE JWU PROGRAM:
Today we also got to talk to 日本女子學院の学生 on one-on-one basis,
personally i think i've learned the most japanese out of this program than any other classes i've took at uci~
senseis are actually really strict about the " no english in the classroom" rule,
and when you ask them what this word means,
they do their best to describe it to you in japanese,
that way you learn more japanese during the process..
instead of just throwing out english at you.
we also get kanji tests/ essays everyday~~
