Supposedly on Tuesdays class ends at 12.30pm, but since we have orientation immediately after, at 1.30... we got out sometime around 3pm instead ;(
Since lunch was paid by UCEAP, everyone just sort of went out of they way in stuffing themselves with lots and lots of food~ UCEAP staff was really nice to us too, when i went to the register and lined up, she even asked me if i wanted to go back and grab more food~ :P i guess compared to others i didn't get that much.. i got the same old plate with oh, ya a little extra-- my pudding dessert which i brought home <3
The first plate is mine. My meal came up to 1050 yen roughly. oh yeah, and the big black bread on top is my dessert of the day : black bread with red bean inside :) The tofu was mediocre but filling~ i got two cups of green tea because i'm way too lazy to go back and wait in the drink line...
spencer got a huge ramen with a self served plate of food, and a hamburger don?! he said it was okay nothing special >''<
Gotta admit the EAP orientation was kind of boring, some of us even accidentally fall asleep during the orientation.. I managed to stay awake during the whole orientation and jot down some notes.
1st: we have to submit course lists to both uceap and our host university
2nd: we have to constantly check our e-mail make sure we are up to date! note that uceap unit and host university unit are completely different.. since it varies campus by campus, we should always ask our academic advisor first!
3rd: never ever EVER miss the deadline to submit the important documents. Kayo san told us this student almost got kicked outta berkeley while he was on the EAP program because he forgot to submit some important documents.. >''<~
